Velvet Howl was born from a lifelong refusal to fit neatly into one box.

I’m Christina — a Texas-based creative, former salon owner, and longtime lover of fashion, horror movies, live music, western grit, tattoos, vintage treasures, and anything with a little weirdness baked in. I live with my family, a flock of chickens, a bunny, and my dog — so there’s usually a little bit of beautiful chaos happening around here.

My style has never been just one thing. Some days it’s cowgirl boots and fringe, others it’s an oversized graphic tee and beat-up denim, and sometimes it’s a little witchy, a little glam, and probably all black. That mix became Velvet Howl.

I created the kind of shop I was always looking for — a place where western collides with alternative, nostalgia gets a little strange, and getting dressed feels like self-expression instead of following a trend. Think cosmic cowgirls, dive-bar energy, spooky oddities, vintage-inspired graphics, and statement pieces with personality.

Velvet Howl is for the women who never belonged to just one crowd — the cowgirls with concert tickets in their pockets, horror lovers with a soft spot for sparkle, former scene kids who grew up but definitely didn’t grow boring, weird girls, wild hearts, dog people, chicken ladies, and anyone who believes personal style should actually feel personal.
